Yakutsk's redevelopment accelerates as another building faces demolition under CRP

Demolition work has started on another building in Yakutsk as part of the Sportivny Comprehensive Redevelopment Program (CRP). The latest structure to be torn down is building 59/1 at 1 Yakutskaya Street. Meanwhile, residents from several nearby streets are being relocated as the project moves forward.

The redevelopment effort, led by RIA, is now in its first phases. Six buildings have already been cleared: 38/1 and 40/1 on Pionerskaya Street, along with 59, 61/1, 63/1, and 63 on Yakutskaya Street. The process of compensating residents from 36/1 Pionerskaya Street has also been completed.

Relocation is ongoing for those living on Pionerskaya, Yakutskaya, and Kosmonavtov Streets. Officials have specifically called on municipal tenants of apartment No. 9 at 57/1 Yakutskaya Street to get in touch. They can contact RIA’s relocation department at +7 (924) 163-33-68 or +7 (4112) 50-86-30. Demolition crews have now shifted focus to building 59/1 at 1 Yakutskaya Street. The work follows the same pattern as previous clearances under the CRP, with further demolitions expected in the coming weeks.

The Sportivny CRP continues to reshape parts of Yakutsk, with more buildings set for demolition and residents being moved. Those affected by the changes have been given contact details to arrange their relocation. The programme aims to modernise the area while ensuring residents receive compensation or alternative housing.
