Ras Al Khaimah Police tighten security for Eid Al Adha celebrations

Ras Al Khaimah Police have finalised security and traffic plans for Eid Al Adha. The measures aim to keep residents and visitors safe during the busy holiday period. Extra patrols and specialised teams will be deployed across the emirate. Authorities will focus on high-traffic areas, including Eid prayer grounds, slaughterhouses, and shopping centres. Markets, parks, beaches, and other public spaces will also see increased police presence. The goal is to manage crowds, prevent disruptions, and ensure quick responses to emergencies.

Families have been reminded to watch children closely, especially near roads and in crowded places. Drivers must avoid reckless behaviour, such as speeding or performing stunts, particularly in residential zones. The use and distribution of fireworks remain banned due to safety concerns.

Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious or unsafe activities. For emergencies, the public should call 999, while non-urgent matters can be reported on 901. The police efforts will focus on maintaining smooth traffic, public order, and rapid emergency responses. By enforcing safety rules and monitoring key locations, authorities hope to prevent accidents and disturbances during the celebrations.
