Dubai Livestock Market gears up for Eid Al Adha with expanded services

Dubai Municipality has announced full operational readiness at the Dubai Livestock Market ahead of Eid Al Adha. The facility, covering 537,000 square metres, now houses 89,651 animals and will run extended hours to meet demand during the holiday period. The market has expanded its veterinary services to guarantee animal health and safety. An integrated inspection system is now in place to check livestock for diseases before sale. This ensures only healthy animals reach consumers.

The facility offers a wide selection of livestock to suit different preferences. With 157 pens and 77 warehouses for feed and supplies, it is well-equipped to handle the increased activity. Opening times have been extended, with the market operating from 5am to midnight daily throughout the Eid holiday. The enhanced veterinary measures and expanded infrastructure aim to support smooth operations during the busy period. Consumers will have access to a variety of inspected, disease-free livestock as Eid Al Adha approaches.
