Meet Felix the Brave: A Flea's Epic Quest for Greatness Hits Theaters in 2027
An animated adventure about a flea with big dreams is on its way to cinemas. Felix the Brave follows a tiny hero who believes he’s a mighty rhinoceros beetle. The film, produced by Little Dream Entertainment, Amour Fou, and Red Parrot Studios, is set for delivery in late 2027. The story centres on Felix, a flea convinced he’s destined for greatness. His quest leads him to search for the legendary Beetle Queen. Along the way, he meets Missy, a quick-witted dung beetle, and Toni, an eccentric bombardier beetle veteran.
Ali Samadi Ahadi, director of *Moonbound*, is helming the project. Character design comes from Peter Oedekoven, known for *Stitch Head* and *Chickenhare and the Secret of the Groundhog*. Timo Berg, who worked on *The Super Mario Bros. Movie* and *Despicable Me 3*, serves as animation director. Sola Media has taken on worldwide sales for the film. A first look will premiere at the Cannes Film Market, where an exclusive teaser will be unveiled. German audiences can expect a theatrical release through Little Dream Pictures.
With a creative team experienced in family animation, Felix the Brave aims to bring a quirky, heartfelt tale to screens. The film’s release is planned for the third quarter of 2027, following its debut at Cannes.
