Lafayette's 2026 Taste of Restaurant Stroll Sells Out in Record Time

The 2026 Taste of Lafayette Restaurant Stroll will take place on Tuesday, May 19 in downtown Lafayette. Organisers have announced that the tasting portion of the event has already sold out, with tickets priced at $80 for early buyers and $85 after April 1. The event invites ticket holders to sample dishes from a variety of local restaurants starting at 5:30 p.m. Participating venues include Barranco, Batch & Brine, and newcomers like 360 Gourmet Burritos and Butter & Batter. Each guest must carry a Passport to receive tastings, and alcohol will only be served to those aged 21 or older.

Live music will be provided by Generations in Jazz and New You Dance Center at Lafayette Plaza. While the tasting experience requires a ticket, non-ticket holders can still enjoy free performances from 5 to 7 p.m. Proceeds from the event will support the Lafayette Chamber and the Community Foundation of Lafayette.

With the tasting portion fully booked, attendees can look forward to exploring Lafayette’s dining scene. The evening will also feature free entertainment for the wider public, ensuring a lively atmosphere in downtown Lafayette.
