LOTTO Hessen becomes Gold Sponsor for 2026 Hessentag in Fulda

LOTTO Hessen has signed on as a Gold Sponsor for the 2026 Hessentag festival in Fulda. The agreement was finalised with Mayor Dr. Heiko Wingenfeld, marking the company’s latest commitment to cultural and community events across the region. Known for funding projects in sports, heritage, and social welfare, the organisation will now play a key role in Germany’s largest and oldest state festival.

The Hessentag has long been a highlight of the regional calendar, drawing visitors from across Germany. This year, LOTTO Hessen will take charge of a three-kilometre stretch, officially named the LOTTO Hessentag Street. The area will feature a dedicated sports programme open to all attendees.

For the first time, the company is also backing *Just White*, Hesse’s biggest all-white family party. Additionally, festival-goers can look forward to a special surprise near the Ferris wheel, organised by the sponsor. Dr. Sabine Tonscheidt, spokesperson for LOTTO Hessen, highlighted the company’s decades-long support for local initiatives, from environmental protection to cultural heritage.

The partnership strengthens LOTTO Hessen’s ties to Fulda and the wider region. The 2026 Hessentag will now include a sports programme, a themed street, and a new attraction at the Ferris wheel. The festival runs as one of Germany’s most enduring celebrations of community and tradition.
