Kazakhstan's gymnasts take on the World Challenge Cup in Varna

Kazakhstan’s Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Team is set to compete at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup in Varna, Bulgaria. The event will run from May 7 to 10, featuring four Kazakh athletes across multiple disciplines.

Nurtan Idrisov will take part in four events: floor exercise, vault, rings, and parallel bars. His teammate Asan Salimov will compete in the floor exercise, vault, and horizontal bar.

Roman Hegai will focus on the pommel horse, parallel bars, and horizontal bar. Meanwhile, Zeynolla Idrisov will specialise solely in the pommel horse event. The competition brings together gymnasts from around the world, with Kazakhstan fielding a team across all major apparatuses. Each athlete has prepared for their respective events, aiming for strong performances in Bulgaria.

The Kazakh team arrives in Varna with a full schedule of events. Their participation spans all four days of the competition, from May 7 to May 10. Results will determine their standing in the international rankings.
