The Belarus national football team defeated Armenia in a friendly match. The game took place on Sunday, March 29, at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan, ending 2–1 in favor of Belarus.
Viktor Goncharenko's side opened the scoring in the 8th minute—Yevgeni Yablonski converted a precise strike from a corner. In the 72nd minute, Herman Barkovski doubled Belarus's lead. Armenia pulled one back with a successful penalty kick from Vahan Bichakhchyan.
