Local sewage upgrade opens for bids with May 2026 deadline

INVITATION TO BID

CAMERON, COLEBROOK, AND NOLT SEWAGE PUMPING STATION IMPROVEMENTS: The project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to upgrade three existing buried packaged pumping stations into one (1) submersible sewage pumping station and two (2) suction lift pumping stations.

Work includes installation of three owner-procured package pumping stations and control systems, a new channel grinder, pre-cast wet wells, wet well aeration systems, temporary electrical connections, a new electrical service entrances, modifications to the existing generator buildings, precast manhole structures and yard piping, site paving, fencing, grading, demolition of all existing pumping station facilities, and maintenance of sanitary sewer flows through-out construction.

Two separate contracts will be issued for the project: General Construction and Electrical Construction.

Bids will be received via the PennBid Program until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, May 1, 2026.

A voluntary pre-bid meeting followed by a site visit will be held at 2:00 P.M., prevailing time, on April 14, 2026, at the office of the Owner.

Questions will be accepted until 10:00 A.M, prevailing time, on April 24, 2026; All questions must be submitted through PennBid.

The Contract will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry.

The OWNER hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any of all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any Bid.
