Yakutia's Sana Bootuur Film Seeks Crowdfunding via Digital Asset Sales
A new crowdfunding campaign has launched to complete production of Sana Bootuur (The New Hero), a 120-minute feature film directed by Kostas Marsan. The project invites investors to purchase digital financial assets (DFAs) through the Yakut Digital Cinema Asset-2 initiative, with a target of raising up to 10 million rubles. Applications for the DFAs are now open on the Token platform. The funds raised will cover the final stages of filming and the film’s marketing ahead of its planned theatrical release in March 2027. Shot in both Yakut and Russian, Sana Bootuur aims to reach a broad audience.
Investors can buy the assets until May 31, 2026. In return, they will receive quarterly payouts at an annual rate of 20%. The full repayment of the principal is guaranteed by May 31, 2027, with the **Yakutia Innovation Development Fund** acting as the guarantor. The issuer of the DFAs is **Reengineering Investment Technologies**. The initiative offers a structured investment opportunity while supporting the completion of a major cultural project in Yakutia.
The campaign provides a way for backers to contribute to the film’s success while earning fixed returns. With a clear repayment schedule and institutional backing, the project combines financial incentives with the promotion of Yakut cinema. The film’s release is expected to follow shortly after the investment period closes.
