Today's Strands Puzzle Challenges Players with 'We All Saw It' Theme

The latest edition of Strands has arrived with a new theme and puzzle for players. Released on Sunday, May 10, 2026, the game challenges solvers to uncover words tied to the theme 'We all saw it'. Unlike other word games, this one offers a relaxed experience with no time pressure or risk of failure. Today’s Strands features six theme words: OVERT, OBVIOUS, BLATANT, FLAGRANT, GLARING, and BRAZEN. Players must locate these hidden terms within a letter grid, where words can run in any direction. Each letter is used only once, adding to the challenge.

The puzzle also includes a *spangram*—a special word that stretches across the entire board. Once found, it lights up in yellow. For this game, the spangram is *CLEARCUT*, fitting the theme of undeniable visibility. Unlike *Connections* or *Wordle*, *Strands* has no guess limits or time constraints. Players can submit non-theme words to earn hints, which are marked with a lightbulb on the final shareable scorecard. A completed puzzle shows blue dots for theme words and a yellow dot for the spangram. Victory comes when all letters are used, the spangram is identified, and every theme word is uncovered.

The May 10 puzzle rewards players with a shareable performance summary. Blue dots mark found theme words, while the spangram appears in yellow. With no way to lose and unlimited attempts, the game encourages experimentation and discovery.
