Three girls arrested after brutal assault on 13-year-old in Owings Mills

Three middle school girls have been arrested after assaulting a 13-year-old in Owings Mills. The attack, captured on video, left the victim unconscious with minor injuries. Neighbours in the Queen Anne Village area have reacted with shock after seeing the footage online. The incident took place on Monday, away from the victim’s home. The three suspects, aged between 12 and 14, were later identified and detained. Two of them attend Pikesville Middle School, though the victim does not.

A video of the assault quickly spread across social media, drawing widespread attention. Principal Nicole Bridges condemned the attack as 'unacceptable' and confirmed that the students involved would face severe disciplinary action.

The 13-year-old girl was found unconscious but suffered non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken to hospital and later discharged. Local parents have since called for greater efforts to teach children about kindness and respect. They hope to prevent similar incidents in the future. The case remains under investigation by authorities.
