S2S Group hits £5M turnover with record growth in secure IT recycling

S2S Group, a Rotherham-based specialist in secure IT recycling and data destruction, has reported a record year in 2025. The company’s turnover exceeded £5 million, marking a significant milestone in its growth. Expansion efforts included new staff, equipment, and a European partnership to strengthen operations. The company’s workforce increased to 42 employees by the end of 2025, with seven new hires joining the team. Among them are nine dedicated IT technicians, all focused on data security and asset recovery. Their work supported the processing of over 50,000 IT assets for recycling, alongside the secure destruction of more than 380,000 data-bearing devices.

To boost operational capacity, S2S Group added an 18-tonne truck to its fleet. This investment followed a £500,000 funding injection from Bailie Group, helping to drive expansion. The company also extended its reach in Europe through a joint venture with All-Star Shredding. With headquarters in Rotherham and additional offices in London and Glasgow, S2S Group serves clients across the UK. Its core services include certified data erasure and sustainable WEEE recycling, ensuring compliance with environmental and security standards.

The 2025 figures reflect a year of substantial progress for S2S Group. With a larger workforce, enhanced fleet, and new international partnerships, the company has strengthened its position in secure IT disposal. The £5 million turnover underscores growing demand for its specialised recycling and data destruction services.
