Thick fog and drizzle paralyze Vladivostok after bypass crash

Vladivostok faced a difficult Monday as thick fog and drizzle blanketed the city. The poor weather contributed to a traffic accident on the bypass road, causing delays for drivers heading towards Patrokl. Conditions are expected to remain unsettled overnight, with no improvement in sight. The day began with overcast skies and a brisk southeasterly wind blowing across Vladivostok. Temperatures hovered between +12 and +15°C, while light rain and fog reduced visibility in many areas.

A collision occurred on the bypass road between Dalkhimprom and Snegovaya Pad after sudden thick fog obscured the highway. The accident led to heavy congestion, particularly for those travelling towards Patrokl. Authorities have urged drivers to adjust their speed, stay alert, and use alternative routes where possible. Forecasters predict little change overnight, with fog and chilly rain persisting. Temperatures are set to drop slightly, ranging from +9 to +12°C.

The accident has disrupted traffic flow, and drivers are being warned to exercise caution in the ongoing poor conditions. With fog and rain continuing into the night, commuters should prepare for possible delays and hazardous driving conditions.
