The Pickin' Pear brings folk 'n' roll energy to Loveland this weekend

The Pickin' Pear, a folk and bluegrass duo from Colorado, will take the stage in Loveland this Saturday. Tia Martini and Leon Elam, the pair behind the band, blend banjo, ukulele, and rock into their signature sound. Their performance at To The Fives runs from 7:30 p.m. until midnight on May 23. Martini and Elam first met in 2014 through the Northern Colorado music scene. They soon formed The Pickin' Pear, launching their career with a mix of folk, rock, and bluegrass. Since then, the duo has toured relentlessly, playing over 1,000 shows across 40 states.

Their music is often described as an 'organic and all-natural blend of folk 'n' roll'. Along the way, they’ve opened for well-known acts like Fruition and The Travelin' McCourys. The Loveland show gives local fans a chance to see a touring independent band with deep roots in Colorado. The performance at To The Fives marks another stop on their extensive tour. Doors open early, with live music continuing late into the night.

The Pickin' Pear’s Loveland concert highlights their ongoing connection to Colorado. With a decade of touring behind them, the duo brings a lively mix of folk, rock, and bluegrass to the stage. The show offers a night of music from a band that has played alongside national acts while staying true to their independent spirit.
