Tesla's FSD Supervised hits 20M km in Europe after rapid surge

Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised technology has passed a major milestone in Europe. Owners in the Netherlands and Lithuania have now driven over 20 million kilometers using the system. This rapid increase follows recent regulatory approvals in both countries. The 20 million kilometer mark was reached just days after the total stood at 15 million. This means drivers covered an additional 5 million kilometers in under 48 hours. The surge in usage comes after the Netherlands approved FSD Supervised on April 10 and Lithuania followed on May 20.

Tesla’s safety data shows that vehicles using FSD Supervised experience one major collision for every 5.3 million miles driven. Early reports from European drivers suggest the system handles local road layouts well, including complex junctions and roundabouts. The fast-growing dataset from these two countries is helping Tesla refine its software. This progress could pave the way for a wider European release of the driver-assist technology.

The sharp rise in FSD Supervised usage highlights strong demand among Tesla owners in approved regions. With over 20 million kilometers logged, the system’s performance and safety metrics are now under closer scrutiny. Regulatory decisions in other European countries may follow based on these results.
