Teen Prodigy Alexandra Lukyanova Wins Gold and Bronze in Combat Sports

Fourteen-year-old Alexandra Lukyanova has secured two major wins in combat sports. She claimed bronze at the Russian Youth Boxing Championships before taking gold at the Russian Kickboxing Championships. Both events drew hundreds of young athletes from across the country. The Russian Youth Boxing Championships featured over 500 competitors in the 13–14 age group. Lukyanova fought in the 48 kg division and earned a bronze medal. Her coach, Bogdan Kalinin, later revealed this was her first time competing at a national boxing event.

Before the tournament, Kalinin admitted they aimed for a podium finish but recognised the tough competition. Their expectations were soon met as Lukyanova advanced through the matches. A few weeks later, she entered the Russian Kickboxing Championships, where more than 1,600 young fighters took part. Competing in the full-contact category, she dominated her weight class and won first place.

Lukyanova now holds a bronze in boxing and a gold in kickboxing. Her results mark a strong start in national-level combat sports. Both achievements came in high-stakes tournaments with large fields of competitors.
