Supriya Pathak Kapur's Our Story to premiere at TIFF with global distribution deals
Supriya Pathak Kapur The project marks a creative collaboration between Pathak Kapur’s production banner, Rabasusah, and the Australian company Films and Casting Temple. Anupam Sharma will lead as producer, while Ruhaan Kapur takes on the roles of associate director and creative producer. The film blends biographical elements with fictional storytelling, drawing from the real experiences of Pathak Kapur’s family.
Sanah Kapur, who has appeared in films like *Shaandaar*, *Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi*, and *Saroj Ka Rishta*, co-wrote the script with her mother. Forum Films has already secured theatrical distribution rights for Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. The film’s first market screening will take place at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. This debut feature reflects Pathak Kapur’s transition from acting to directing, backed by a team with both Indian and international expertise.
