Stepfershausen Fire Department Celebrates 160 Years with Free Community Event
Stepfershausen Fire Department is marking its 160th anniversary with a two-day celebration. The event will take place on June 6 and 7 at the Backhaus in Schäfergasse, with free entry for all visitors. Festivities include live music, family activities, and a chance to explore the department’s equipment up close. The celebrations kick off on June 6 with a party featuring DJ Igor. Music starts at 8 p.m., setting the tone for an evening of entertainment. Refreshments will be available, with the fire department promising to keep guests hydrated throughout the night.
The following day, June 7, focuses on families and community engagement. From 2 p.m., a Family Day and Equipment Display will give visitors a closer look at the fire service’s tools and vehicles. Children can also enjoy a bouncy castle, adding to the day’s attractions.
The anniversary event runs for two days with no admission fee. Both evenings and afternoons offer something for all ages, from live music to hands-on activities. The fire department invites everyone to join in the celebrations at the Backhaus in Schäfergasse.
