Soyuzmultfilm's Animated Concert Festival Celebrates 90 Years of Magic in 2026

The seventh annual Soyuzmultfilm Animated Concert Charity Festival will begin on May 22, 2026. Organised by Zapomi Entertainment, the event celebrates the 90th anniversary of the iconic Soyuzmultfilm studio. This year’s festival will bring animated classics and live orchestral performances to 11 cities across Russia. The festival kicks off with a family-friendly programme rated 0+. It blends beloved animated films like Cheburashka, The Bremen Town Musicians, and Nu, Pogodi! with live orchestral music. The format aims to introduce young audiences to classical compositions in a fun and accessible way.

One of the highlights will take place in Vladivostok on June 5 at 12:00 PM. The Pacific Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Primorsky Regional Philharmonic, offering a mix of animation and symphonic music. Backed by the Russian Ministry of Culture and ROSKONCERT, the festival seeks to promote the country’s rich musical and animation heritage. By touring multiple regions, it gives audiences nationwide the chance to experience these performances firsthand.

The 2026 festival continues a tradition now in its seventh year. It combines entertainment with cultural education, reaching families through a unique mix of animation and live music. Performances will run in 11 cities, ensuring widespread access to the celebrations.
