Russia's 2026 DIIR Conference Opens Free Public Day in Nizhny Novgorod
The 2026 Digital Industry of Industrial Russia (DIIR) conference will take place in Nizhny Novgorod from May 18 to 21. An accompanying festival will extend the event until May 23. Organisers have announced that the final day will feature free public access to the exhibition, continuing an annual tradition of open participation. The conference and festival will be held in the mirrored pavilions of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair. Visitors aged 16 and older can attend, but they must register in advance on the official website to secure a badge. Due to limited capacity, attendees are encouraged to book a time slot early.
Governor Glebs Nikitin highlighted the importance of free access, noting that it allows local residents to interact with the latest technological advancements. The exhibition will showcase digital solutions and services used across various industries and everyday life. Leading tech companies will present their innovations, offering visitors a hands-on experience. Beyond the public day, the event will focus on expanding partnerships, particularly with Southeast Asian countries. The programme aims to strengthen international cooperation in digital and industrial sectors.
The DIIR conference will run from May 18 to 21, with the festival continuing until May 23. Free entry on the last day provides an opportunity for residents to explore new technologies. Registration and badge collection remain mandatory for all attendees.
