Russian Open Beach Volleyball Championship Kicks Off in Krasnodar With Free Entry

The first stage of the Russian Open Beach Volleyball Championship is set to begin in Krasnodar. From May 21 to May 24, Sunny Island Park will host 43 teams competing for top honours. Entry to the tournament is free for all spectators. A total of 25 men’s and 18 women’s pairs have registered for the event. Among them are Russia’s 2025 national champions and cup winners: Yekaterina Shevtsova, Oleg Stoyanovskiy, and Ilya Leshukov.

The Kuban region will be well represented in both categories. On the men’s side, Dinskaya-RCSP, Dynamo-Krasnodar, and Volleyball Academy VFV will take part. The women’s competition will feature Dynamo, Kuban, and Volleyball Academy VFV. Matches will run for four days, with teams battling for early-season points in the championship.

The tournament brings together top beach volleyball talent from across Russia. With free admission, fans can watch the action live in Sunny Island Park. The event marks the start of the season for many competing pairs.
