Primorsky Krai's new bridges restore safe passage for 200 residents

Two temporary bridges in Primorsky Krai are almost ready for use. The new structures will replace old, unsafe bridges along a key regional road. Their completion comes as a relief for the 200 residents of Dvoryanka, who rely on this route daily.

The bridges are being built at the 13th kilometre of the road connecting Sibirtsevo, Zarikovo, Komissarovo, and Dvoryanka. The existing bridges had fallen into an emergency state, forcing authorities to create safer alternatives. Once open, they will allow vehicles weighing up to 40 tons to cross safely.

Crews are now finishing the final touches, including the installation of safety barriers. In the coming days, they will connect the bridges to the roadbed and pave the access routes. The upgrades will also benefit children attending a nearby school, ensuring their daily commutes remain uninterrupted. Beyond local needs, the new bridges will provide secure access to Lake Khanka, a popular spot for tourism and recreation. This improvement is expected to boost both safety and convenience for visitors and residents alike.

The completion of these bridges will restore reliable transport links for the community. Residents will no longer face risks from the deteriorating old structures. Safe passage to essential services, schools, and Lake Khanka will now be guaranteed.
