Lamar Jackson skips practice as Derrick Henry shrugs off minor collision

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson missed a voluntary practice this week, while running back Derrick Henry briefly left the field after a minor collision. Both players remain in the spotlight as the team prepares for the upcoming season.

The session ended on a lighter note, with players taking part in a playful medicine ball challenge.

Henry’s exit came after he banged knees with a teammate during drills. The incident caused a brief pause, but he quickly returned to the field. Afterward, the veteran running back laughed it off, joking that he had given reporters plenty to talk about.

Meanwhile, Jackson’s absence from the voluntary session follows a pattern of sporadic attendance at off-season workouts in past years. Despite this, he did participate in coach Jesse Minter’s first minicamp last month. Minter has stated he expects the quarterback back at practice soon. Jackson remains under contract with the Ravens for two more seasons.

Henry’s quick return to drills suggests no serious injury, while Jackson’s absence appears routine given his past attendance habits. The team continues its off-season preparations, with both players expected to feature prominently in the coming campaign.
