Khimik crushes Dinamo-Barnaul 4-1 to stay hot on KDV Tomsk's heels
Khimik secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Dinamo-Barnaul in their latest league match. The win keeps them in second place with 21 points, just three behind leaders KDV Tomsk. The second half saw Nikita Nikiforov add a third goal in the 50th minute. Daniil Zuev then struck in the 69th minute to put Khimik 4-0 ahead. Dinamo-Barnaul managed a late consolation in stoppage time, but the result was already beyond doubt.
Currently, KDV Tomsk sits at the top of the table with 24 points. Pobeda Nizhny Novgorod holds third place with 16 points. Khimik’s next challenge comes on May 24, when they travel to Novotroitsk to face Nosta. The win reinforces Khimik’s position as strong contenders in the league.
