Russia's CIPR 2026 kicks off in Nizhny Novgorod with Mishustin in attendance
The Russia’s Digital Industry of Industrial Russia Conference (CIPR) has begun today in Nizhny Novgorod. This annual event, running until May 21, brings together government officials, business leaders, and IT professionals for high-level discussions. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is set to attend the opening day. CIPR has been held in Nizhny Novgorod every year since 2020. The conference combines a business forum with an exhibition space, allowing companies to present their latest innovations. Last year’s edition attracted over 15,000 participants from Russia and 40 other countries, resulting in more than 300 signed agreements.
This year’s programme focuses on key areas of digital development. Topics include economic transformation, emerging technologies, import substitution, and technological sovereignty. Cybersecurity and workforce training will also feature prominently in discussions. Organisers plan to highlight the event’s most important moments as they unfold. The conference aims to foster collaboration between industry leaders and policymakers.
CIPR 2026 will continue until May 21, covering critical issues in Russia’s digital sector. The event provides a platform for networking, deal-making, and showcasing new technologies. Attendance figures and outcomes will be tracked throughout the week.
