Jackass returns to Paramount+ with fully restored original episodes

The original Jackass TV series has returned to Paramount+ with restored episodes. The show, known for its outrageous stunts and DIY spirit, was temporarily pulled from the platform in late 2025 at the request of Johnny Knoxville and the crew. Fans can now watch all three seasons as they first aired on MTV in 2000. Jackass became a cultural phenomenon when it launched, blending reckless stunts with raw humour. The cast faced live alligators, snakes, bulls, and bears, endured bee stings in sensitive areas, and even launched themselves from cannons. Their fearless, often painful antics redefined reality TV.

The restored episodes now match the team’s original vision. Over time, earlier versions had been edited, prompting Knoxville and the crew to push for changes. Paramount+ worked to revert these alterations before bringing the series back. The refreshed seasons are streaming in the U.S. now, with more regions gaining access in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, the franchise’s fifth and final film, *Jackass: Best and Last*, is set for a theatrical release on June 26.

The return of Jackass gives fans a chance to see the show as it was meant to be. The restored episodes preserve the chaotic energy that made the series iconic. With a new film on the way, the franchise’s legacy of wild stunts and unfiltered comedy continues.
