Iskra claims gold as Magadan hosts intense Dynamo Spartakiad swim meet

Swimming competitions were held today at the Presidential Sports Complex pool in Magadan. The event drew eight teams as part of the Dynamo Spartakiad games organised by the local branch. Athletes competed in two main events. Women and male veterans raced in the 50-metre freestyle, while all other participants swam the 100-metre freestyle.

Ruslana Dubova, an inspector with the regional Interior Ministry’s investigation and detention division, took first place in the women’s individual event. In the team standings, Iskra secured the top spot, followed by Zvezda, the team representing the Magadan branch of the Russian Interior Ministry. Winners and medalists received cups, medals, and certificates for their achievements.

The event concluded with Iskra claiming gold and Zvezda earning silver in the team rankings. Participants from all eight teams were recognised for their performances in the Spartakiad games.
