Harvard-Westlake dethrones Irvine University in epic tennis final

Harvard-Westlake’s boys’ tennis team has claimed the Southern Section Division 1 title. The Wolverines defeated Irvine University 10-8 in a tightly contested final, ending the opponents’ four-year reign as champions. The match saw strong performances across Harvard-Westlake’s lineup. Chase Klugo and Aaron Chung dominated their doubles match, securing a clean sweep. Aiden Zadeh also contributed with a crucial singles victory.

Gideon Ames delivered the decisive win, clinching the final set for the Wolverines. The victory marks a significant shift in the division, as Irvine University had held the title for four consecutive years.
