Fetish content prices surge 12.3% since 2020—but some kinks cost far more
The price of fetish and kink content has climbed steadily since 2020. A new report shows that economic pressures are pushing up costs across different categories. Researchers analysed millions of clips to track how inflation and demand are changing the market. Clips4Sale examined price shifts in fetish content over the past four years. The study introduced the Kink Consumer Index (KCI) to measure average costs of newly uploaded clips each year. Findings revealed that the overall price of fetish material rose by 12.3 percent since 2020.
Some categories saw much sharper increases. Wrestling clips jumped by 45 percent in the same period. Boot Worship content rose even more, with prices up by 56 percent. BBW / SSBBW clips increased by 42 percent, while Balloons content went up by 39 percent.
Despite these rises, the report noted that fetish content prices grew slower than general inflation. Factors like production costs, supply levels, and changing consumer habits all played a role. The broader cost of living crisis has also influenced how much people pay for explicit material. The KCI highlights how economic conditions shape niche markets. While some fetish categories have become significantly more expensive, overall growth remains below inflation rates. The data provides a clearer picture of how pricing trends reflect wider financial pressures.
