Dubai's malls launch Eid festivities with gaming, culture and free treats
Dubai’s retail destinations are gearing up for a busy Eid and late May with gaming events, cultural shows, and special promotions. From interactive experiences to live performances, malls across the city will offer entertainment for families and shoppers alike.
One highlight is the return of Versus 3.0, a gaming-led event at Ibn Battuta Mall, alongside seasonal deals and free treats at select locations.
Starting on 22 May, Ibn Battuta Mall will host Versus 3.0, a nine-day gaming event running until 31 May. Visitors can enjoy interactive gaming zones, robotics demonstrations, face painting, and hands-on workshops. The event aims to attract tech and gaming enthusiasts of all ages.
For Eid celebrations, several malls will feature live cultural performances. On the **first day of Eid**, The Outlet Village, Ibn Battuta Mall, Al Khawaneej Walk, and Souk Madinat Jumeirah will host shows. The next day, performances will expand to **Circle Mall, Nad Al Sheba Mall, Palm Jumeirah Mall, Bluewaters**, and the same locations from the previous day. On the **third day**, Bluewaters and Souk Madinat Jumeirah will continue the festivities. Traditional **Al Ayala dances, Al Harbiya band shows, and falconry displays** will also take place at various venues. Food and retail offers add to the excitement. **Taverna Greek Restaurant** at Souk Madinat Jumeirah is serving a special **Anasa set meal** for groups of five or more, priced at AED 1,500. Meanwhile, **Temple Creamery** at Al Khawaneej Walk is giving out **free ice cream** to visitors. Families with young children can take advantage of deals like **Skyzone’s** toddler play session at Ibn Battuta Mall, offering two hours for AED 69. **Fun City**, also at Ibn Battuta Mall, provides a month of unlimited play area access for AED 175. Shoppers can also join the **Spend & Win** promotion running from 18 to 31 May. Participating malls will give customers a chance to win a share of **AED 200,000** in cash prizes.
The events and promotions run from mid-May through the Eid holiday, offering a mix of entertainment, dining, and shopping incentives. Malls like Ibn Battuta, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, and Al Khawaneej Walk will serve as key hubs for activities, ensuring visitors have multiple options for celebration and leisure.
