ChaiFlicks Locks Exclusive Rights to Bloody Murray and Shtisel in Major Deal

ChaiFlicks, the world’s largest streaming service for Jewish content, has secured exclusive rights to two popular series. The deal includes both seasons of the romantic comedy Bloody Murray and three new seasons of the acclaimed drama Shtisel. Both shows will now stream exclusively on the platform in key regions.

The first season of Bloody Murray will make its U.S. debut on ChaiFlicks, while the second season premieres globally on the service. The series follows two 30-something roommates—Murray, a romantic comedy writer, and Dana, a gynaecologist—navigating life and love. Stav Idisis created and wrote the show, with production handled by Kastina Communications and Yes TV.

The agreement also extends the drama *Shtisel* for three additional seasons. Set in an ultra-Orthodox Jerusalem neighbourhood, the series centres on a Haredi family and was developed by Ori Elon and Yehonatan Indursky. Alon Zingman directed, with Abot Hameiri and Yes TV producing. Exclusive streaming rights for both series now cover the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. The deal was finalised by Bill Weiner of ChaiFlicks and Maya Biton at Yes Studios.

ChaiFlicks co-founder Neil Friedman expects Bloody Murray to connect with viewers through its humour and relatable themes. The platform’s expanded library now includes both new and returning series, reinforcing its position as a leading destination for Jewish-themed entertainment. The shows will be available under exclusive SVOD agreements in multiple countries.
