2026 PGA Championship returns to Delaware County after 60 years
The 2026 PGA Championship will return to Delaware County, Pennsylvania, for the first time in over six decades. Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square will host the event, drawing an estimated 200,000 spectators over the week. The tournament runs from Monday, May 11, to Sunday, May 17. Practice rounds take place from May 11 to 13, with the main championship rounds following from May 14 to 17. A field of 156 players will compete, including major winners like Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, and Hideki Matsuyama.
On-site parking will not be available, but pre-paid parking passes start at $25 per vehicle. Shuttles will run from designated parking lots, rideshare points, and the SEPTA Paoli Train Station to the course. Attendees can only bring small bags under 10x10x10 inches, along with diaper bags, strollers, and umbrellas. Practice round tickets remain available, starting at $99. Championship+ tickets for the main rounds have sold out but can still be purchased through resale. The PGA Shops will also open to the public from Friday, May 8, to Sunday, May 17, without requiring a tournament ticket.
The 108th PGA Championship marks a significant return to Delaware County. With top golfers competing and extensive transport options in place, organisers expect strong attendance. The event will also offer public access to PGA Shops throughout the tournament week.
