Zero Gravity and USA Today Studios Team Up for Sports Film Projects

Zero Gravity Management has agreed a first-look deal with USA Today Studios. The partnership will focus on creating sports-related projects for film and television. Both scripted and unscripted productions are planned under the new venture.

The collaboration will draw on USA Today’s sports archives, including articles, features, and podcasts from its 200 local publications. Zero Gravity will develop and produce the projects, expanding its portfolio in sports content.

Eric Williams, Suchir Batra, and Gavin Lurie will lead the alliance for Zero Gravity. The company, known for its work on *The Accountant* franchise, *Ozark*, *Better Man*, and *Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker*, brings extensive experience to the partnership. Zero Gravity represents a wide range of talent in film and television. This deal marks its latest move into sports entertainment, combining journalistic resources with creative production.

The agreement will turn USA Today’s sports coverage into new screen projects. Scripted dramas, documentaries, and other formats are expected to emerge from the partnership. The first productions under the deal have yet to be announced.
