Teen faces theft charges after stealing and selling a smart speaker in Magadan
An 18-year-old from Magadan is under investigation for stealing a smart speaker. The suspect did not keep the speaker for long. Instead, they sold it shortly after the theft. Investigators have since calculated the financial loss at 4,000 rubles. A formal case has now been launched under Part 1 of Article 158 of the Russian Criminal Code. This charge specifically covers theft without aggravating circumstances.
