Tarlan Ice Complex debuts 'Fun Ice Starts' for Children's Day celebration
The Tarlan Ice Complex recently celebrated Children’s Day with its first-ever 'Fun Ice Starts' competition. The event brought together young athletes The competition featured a mix of team ice relays, athletic contests, and entertainment games. Organisers designed the program to encourage an active lifestyle, grassroots sports, and inclusivity. Children displayed teamwork, determination, and camaraderie throughout the day.
Abdusaid Nazarov, director of the Public Foundation 'Paralympic Training Center,' highlighted the event’s significance. He explained that such gatherings help children socialise, uncover their talents, and build self-confidence. The complex’s first youth para ice hockey team, formed in 2024, also participated in the activities. At the end of the event, every participant received medals, certificates, sports gifts, and treats. The awards recognised their efforts and celebrated their involvement in the competition.
The 'Fun Ice Starts' competition marked a milestone for the Tarlan Ice Complex, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive sports. With nearly 1,000 children taking part, the event provided a platform for skill development and social engagement. All participants left with recognition for their contributions and achievements.
