Russia's dairy boom drives record dry whey exports to global markets

Russia's exports of dry whey are also set to nearly double, according to Belov, as reported by TASS. The projected export volumes will account for roughly 10% of total production.

Russia's current self-sufficiency in milk stands at 86%.

The country supplies dairy products to more than 60 nations worldwide, with the bulk of shipments going to CIS member states.
