Saturday Night Live UK adds two surprise episodes to debut season

The first season of Saturday Night Live UK has been extended with two extra episodes. Originally planned for six shows, the series will now run for eight weeks. Viewers can catch the latest instalments on Peacock the day after they air in the UK. The next episode, airing on May 3, will be hosted by Sex Education star Aimee Lou Wood. She follows a line-up of guest presenters that have included names like Jack Whitehall and Olivia Colman.

Hannah Waddingham, known for *Ted Lasso*, will take the stage on May 9. The season will then close on May 16 with *Doctor Who* actor Ncuti Gatwa as host. The cast features a mix of comedians and actors, including Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, and Emma Sidi. Rounding out the team are Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, and Paddy Young. Peacock offers several ways to watch. Subscribers can choose a £10.99 monthly plan with ads or a £16.99 ad-free version. The service is also available as a Prime Video add-on for the same price. For those who prefer bundles, Peacock and Apple TV together cost £14.99 per month. New users can try it free for seven days through Amazon.

The extended season means more episodes for fans of the British sketch show. All new instalments will stream the next day on Peacock, giving audiences multiple viewing options. The final two episodes will air on May 9 and May 16.
