Remote turns cash-flow positive with $300M revenue and APAC expansion

Remote, a global payroll and employment platform, has hit a major financial milestone by becoming cash-flow positive. The company also announced plans to expand its services in Australia as part of its wider growth strategy in the Asia-Pacific region. The company’s payroll business has seen rapid expansion, with annual recurring revenue reaching USD $300 million. This marks a year-on-year growth of over 300%. Remote currently operates more than 100 legal entities worldwide and processes billions of dollars in payroll each year.

To support its growth, Remote has introduced new tools and services. Remote MCP, a solution allowing AI agents to integrate with payroll systems, has recently launched. Another new offering, Remote Build, provides platform implementation and infrastructure support for businesses. The company is also opening its platform to a broader range of users, including partners, developers, customers, and AI agents. Alongside its core services—global payroll, employer of record solutions, and contractor management—Remote integrates with HR software providers like Workday, BambooHR, and Personio. Australia remains a focus for Remote’s expansion in the APAC region. The company has increased access to its payroll and employment platform there to strengthen its presence in the market.

With its cash-flow positive status and growing revenue, Remote is reinforcing its position in global payroll and employment services. The expansion in Australia and new platform features aim to support businesses managing international workforces. The company’s tools and partnerships continue to broaden its reach in the market.
