The 7th International Women in Law Conference begins on September 10, 2026, in Vienna. Running until September 12, the event will focus on the theme ‘Women’s Rights are Human Rights: From Backlash to Equity 2.0.’ Sessions will include keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking for legal professionals worldwide. Most of the conference will take place at Vienna’s Juridicum law faculty. Attendees will explore pressing issues like Global Backlash and Male Allyship, alongside discussions on AI bias in legal systems. Practical workshops will also offer guidance for human rights experts working in these areas.

The Justititia Awards will be presented during the three-day event, recognising outstanding contributions to gender equity in law. Unlike the structured sessions of the first two days, the third day will not follow a formal agenda. Instead, it will feature social events, including a breakfast and a visit to a traditional Viennese *Heuriger* (wine tavern).

The conference wraps up on September 12 with informal gatherings designed to foster connections. Topics like AI bias and allyship will remain central to the discussions held over the three days. Organisers aim to provide both theoretical insights and actionable strategies for advancing women’s rights in legal fields.
