PlayCity fines BetKing operator $10K for delayed regulatory compliance

PlayCity has taken new steps to crack down on illegal gambling advertising. The company recently launched an online reporting tool for the public to flag unauthorised promotions. At the same time, a major operator was fined for failing to meet regulatory deadlines.

The latest enforcement action saw SLOTS U.A. LLC, the operator behind BetKing, receive a fine exceeding $10,000. Regulators imposed the penalty after the company delayed its response to an official information request.

PlayCity has also introduced a digital platform where citizens can report suspicious gambling ads. One early case involved a Twitch account promoting illegal betting. After an investigation, Twitch suspended the account, and PlayCity later removed it entirely. The company stressed that quick and thorough responses to information requests are vital. Such transparency helps maintain fairness in the gambling sector and ensures compliance with regulations.

The fine against BetKing’s operator highlights the consequences of slow regulatory compliance. Meanwhile, the new reporting tool has already led to action against illegal promotions. PlayCity continues to push for stricter oversight in the gambling market.
