Ninh Bình's 2026 Tourism Week Unveils Heritage and Artistic Spectacles
Ninh Bình is set to host its Tourism Week 2026 from May 23 to 30 under the theme ‘Ninh Bình – A Heritage Journey Through the Ages’. The event will showcase the province’s natural beauty, cultural traditions, and artistic creativity while aiming to boost visitor numbers and local revenue. Organisers have planned a mix of contemporary performances, heritage celebrations, and environmental initiatives to draw crowds. The week-long festival will kick off with a grand opening ceremony featuring a music show by nearly 200 artists. Alongside this, the Tràng An Creative Festival will merge modern art with heritage themes, emphasising sustainability and environmental protection.
Nam Hoa Lư ward will serve as the main hub for activities, with extra security and traffic controls in place. One highlight is the Tam Cốc Golden Season Festival, where visitors can experience traditional cultural performances and admire a giant artwork crafted in a rice field. The province expects over 600,000 domestic and international tourists during the event. Hotels and guesthouses are preparing for high demand, with occupancy rates projected to surpass 85 per cent. Additional attractions include exhibitions, tourism product displays, and interactive cultural shows.
The festival aims to strengthen Ninh Bình’s reputation as a top cultural and natural destination. With a focus on heritage, art, and sustainability, the event seeks to attract record visitor numbers and increase tourism revenue. Local authorities have also reinforced security and transport plans to ensure a smooth experience for attendees.
