The Doing Business in Nigeria Conference (DBNC) 2026 took place on April 25 in Lagos. Organised by Maurice Xandra Solutions, the event brought together business leaders, policymakers, and investors under the theme ‘Beyond Boundaries: Innovate Locally, Compete Globally.’ Key speakers and discussions focused on Nigeria’s economic growth and investment opportunities. Linda Uneze, CEO of Maurice Xandra Solutions, convened the conference. Partners included VFD Group and Unotelos Group, helping shape the event’s agenda.

Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, highlighted ongoing reforms to improve Nigeria’s investment climate. Her remarks set the tone for discussions on policy and economic strategy. A leadership-focused executive roundtable featured Dr. Folashade Femi-Lawal, Folake Soetan, Yetunde Oni, and Chidilim Menakaya. The session explored strategies for navigating Nigeria’s business landscape. Two keynote addresses stood out. Kemi Adeosun, former Minister of Finance, spoke on *‘Inside the Minds of Market Makers: How Bold Leaders Navigate Nigeria's Complexity.’* Tonye Patrick Cole, Co-founder of Sahara Group, delivered *‘From Potential to Performance: Building Enterprises That Dominate at Home and Win Abroad.’* A fireside chat titled *‘Powering Prosperity: Capital, Energy, and the Future of Nigeria's Economic Growth’* included Engr. Effiong Udofia Okon. The discussion examined how energy and investment could drive long-term development. The Business Pitch Competition showcased Jennifer Esiaba, CEO of Mariam Grey Health. Her participation highlighted innovation in Nigeria’s healthcare sector.
