The KSTOKINO Open Russian Film Festival returns for its fourth year from May 22 to 27. This year’s event will take place in the Kstovo District of Nizhny Novgorod, offering a mix of cinema, live performances, and family-friendly activities. Organisers have prepared a packed programme with something for all ages. The festival kicks off on May 22 at 6:00 PM with a grand opening ceremony. The event will be held at the Palace of Culture for Chemical Workers, marking the start of six days of cultural events.

Film screenings will run alongside theatrical performances, concerts, and masterclasses. Attendees can also enjoy animated films from Soyuzmultfilm Studio and take part in open dialogues with industry professionals. On May 24, Yubileyny Park will host the 'ECO-Culture' project. Visitors can explore an artisan fair, join creative workshops, and enjoy live performances. Interactive family zones will also be available for children and parents. The festival wraps up on May 27 with a closing ceremony and awards presentation. Updates on the schedule, guest appearances, and free registration are available on the festival’s official VK and MAX social media pages.
