Krasnoyarsk seizes properties for major Kirovsky District redevelopment plan

Krasnoyarsk City Administration has ordered the seizure of land plots and properties in the Kirovsky District. The decision, issued on 20 May 2023, affects multiple residential buildings along Semafornaya Street. Owners will now receive compensation as part of a wider redevelopment plan.

The seized plots include addresses at 331, 343, 353, and 393 Semafornaya Street. Nine apartments in building No. 331 and six in building No. 393 are among those impacted. The municipality will acquire these residential units as part of the process.

Under the comprehensive territorial development agreement, the city will gain two buildings for new kindergartens. The deal also covers the completion of the Vodnik Sports Complex. Additional improvements involve upgrading utility networks, constructing new roads and parking areas, and partially reconstructing Vuzovsky Lane. SibLayder Construction Company LLC has been tasked with assessing the market value of the seized properties. The developer must then draft compensation agreements for each affected owner, working alongside the Urban Planning Department. Within seven business days, the department will send copies of the decree to all titleholders and post a public notice.

The seizure marks the start of a large-scale redevelopment effort in Kirovsky District. Property owners will receive formal compensation offers based on market valuations. The project aims to deliver new infrastructure, public facilities, and neighbourhood upgrades in the coming years.
