Khabarovsk Krai's creative boom takes centre stage at landmark forum
Khabarovsk Krai is set to host a major forum highlighting the region’s creative and business potential. Organised by the Agency for Investment Promotion and International Relations (APIRI), the event will bring together filmmakers, designers, musicians, and investors. It aims to connect local talent with broader cultural and economic networks. The forum will focus on key creative industries, including film, television, animation, video games, and music. Five main areas—finance, ideas, development, inspiration, and practical projects—will shape the programme through presentations and master classes. A first for the Far East, an international film market will also take place, drawing streaming platforms, producers, and music label executives.
Local brands will take centre stage, showcasing their work. Rayotdel, Beyond the Rift, Dom Kommuny, and Help Patrol will present artistic and publishing projects, while artist Olga Solomatina will display her creations. Fashion label BRAND BRAMA will unveil its futuristic CyberSlava collection, and Green Pebbles animation studio will introduce its series Abduction. Design brands IriS Brand, Kriukova Brand, and ANA will also participate, alongside Labrador Tea (Bagulnik), which will feature its taiga-inspired products.
Entertainment will play a big role, with gastronomic and music festivals, film screenings, fashion shows, and live concerts. The highlight of the event will be a performance by filmmaker and actor Fyodor Bondarchuk. The forum serves as a strategic platform for linking Khabarovsk Krai’s creative industries with wider business and cultural opportunities. By fostering partnerships, it aims to help local initiatives grow beyond the region. The event will also provide training and support for specialists working in creative fields.
