FC Krasnodar targets two summer signings ahead of transfer window

Sports journalist Rudy Galetti reported on social media that Russian Premier League sides Lokomotiv Moscow and FC Krasnodar are interested in Krešimir Križmanić, the Croatian defender currently playing for Greek club OFI. According to sources, the 25-year-old is also being pursued by Panathinaikos of Greece and Bulgaria's Levski Sofia.

No official confirmation of the interest has been issued.

Križmanić has been with OFI since the summer of 2021. On April 25, he helped the team win the Greek Cup. To date, he has made 32 appearances for the club and nine for Croatia's U-21 national team, as reported by RIA Novosti.

Earlier reports indicated that FC Krasnodar had also explored a potential summer move for midfielder Aleksandr Kovalenko from FC Sochi. The 22-year-old, who joined the Black Sea club in 2022, remains under contract until 2029.

According to media sources, Krasnodar had inquired about Kovalenko's availability and requested Sochi's terms for a possible transfer this summer. However, no concrete negotiations or further steps toward a deal have yet taken place.
