FC Irtysh ordered to pay over 900,000 rubles after losing hotel debt battle
FC Irtysh has been ordered to pay over 900,000 rubles in debts, fees, and penalties after losing a legal battle with Sibir Hotel. The Omsk Regional Arbitration Court ruled against the football club on April 30, 2026, marking the second dispute between the two parties in less than a year. The court found FC Irtysh liable for an unpaid debt of 428,089 rubles and 84 kopecks owed to Sibir Hotel. On top of this, the club must cover 48,139 rubles in court fees and 15,000 rubles for the hotel’s legal representation. Late payment charges added another 434,698 rubles and 25 kopecks to the total.
The ruling also imposes a daily penalty of 0.1% on the outstanding amount until FC Irtysh settles the full sum. This follows a previous legal clash in November 2025, when the club was ordered to pay 581,700 rubles to the same hotel. FC Irtysh, which receives partial funding from the Omsk regional budget, was allocated around 63.6 million rubles in subsidies for 2025. Despite this financial support, the club has faced ongoing financial disputes with Sibir Hotel.
The latest court decision brings FC Irtysh’s total obligations to Sibir Hotel to over 900,000 rubles, excluding the daily penalties. The club must now repay the full amount while managing its regional funding. This marks the second time in seven months that FC Irtysh has been legally required to settle debts with the hotel.
