Emmy Blotnick and Jourdain Fisher debut bold new comedy specials on Gorilla Comedy+

Two stand-up comedians are bringing fresh specials to a new streaming platform. Emmy Blotnick and Jourdain Fisher will headline shows on Gorilla Comedy+, which launches on 5 May. Their performances will later appear on YouTube for a global audience. Gorilla Comedy+ will debut on 5 May, offering original comedy content. Emmy Blotnick’s special, What’s Her Secret?, arrives first on 18 May. Filmed at Brooklyn’s Union Hall, it covers marriage, pet ownership, and celebrity skincare routines. Viewers worldwide can watch it on YouTube from 16 June.

Blotnick has built a strong reputation in comedy. She wrote for *The Late Show with Stephen Colbert* and *The President Show*, and her 2019 half-hour special aired on Comedy Central. She has also performed on multiple late-night programmes. Jourdain Fisher’s special, *Bits & Pieces*, premieres on 25 May. Recorded at the Comedy Cellar, it explores her experiences as a Southerner living in New York. The show will reach YouTube audiences on 23 June. Fisher’s career took off after a standout appearance on *The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon*. A standing ovation led to a staff writing job on the programme. She was also named a Just for Laughs New Face in 2018 and has written for Netflix and BET.

Both specials will stream first on Gorilla Comedy+ before moving to YouTube. Blotnick’s show goes live on 18 May, while Fisher’s follows a week later. The platform’s launch expands options for comedy fans seeking new material.
