Belarus Braces for a Warm Summer, as Climate Scientists Predict Record-Breaking Temperatures
According to data from the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the upcoming summer in Belarus may experience temperatures reminiscent of 2024, setting new norms for heat. The WMO report suggests that, between 2025 and 29, global temperatures are likely to surpass record highs, with at least one of the subsequent five summers having an 70% chance of exceeding the heat levels of 2024.

The average annual temperature in Belarus has risen by 1.3°C over the past 140 years, reported academician Vladimir Lginov, a climate scientist and geocologist at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
